Roles of Women in Ancient Greece
The use of wo custody in ancient Greece depended on the city where one lastd. In Sparta, wo custody were to a greater extent determine and prise by men, so the men were willing to give them more rights and opportunities to make their own decisions. In Athens, men had a more traditional view on women and believed that they shouldnt belong in society; so thereof, men primarily monitored the women actions. Sparta lies in the Peloponnesus, in the south. The sterns set up a brutal and strict dust of control. Assemblies made up by male citizens approved the major decisions in Sparta. Since the men of Sparta valued how women looked, fine-looking and attractive women were apt(p) more opportunities which eventually light-emitting diode to having more rights. Women had mirrors all over, so they were constantly looking at themselv es and fixing themselves. They obsessed over their looks and appearances.
